Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 September 2026
This policy explains how Core Food Holdings Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202301043446) (“Sushi Hiro”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you use sushihiro.my, contact us or apply for a job with us. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What we collect
- What you give us. When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the outlet and enquiry type you choose, your message and — for party platter enquiries — the date and number of pax. When you apply for a job, we receive whatever you put in your email and resume.
- How you use the website. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you got here. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand what people find useful.
- Cookies and similar technology. See “Cookies” below.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a party platter or group order, and provide customer service.
- To consider your job application.
- To run, secure and improve the website — for example, to stop spam and abuse of our forms.
- To keep proper business records and comply with the law.
- With your consent, for marketing and advertising (see below).
Marketing and advertising — your choice
With your consent, we may use your information to give you a better and more relevant advertising experience. That can include using information about how you use our website, and information you give us such as your email address or phone number, to show you our promotions and to measure how well our advertising works — including through advertising and analytics services such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, which may match this information to their own users.
- We ask for your consent before we use cookies and similar technology for advertising or analytics. You can choose “Only what’s necessary” and the website will still work normally.
- When you send us an enquiry, you can separately tick the box to let us contact you with offers and use your details for more relevant ads. It is optional — leaving it unticked will not affect your enquiry.
- You can change your mind at any time: clear or block cookies in your browser settings, or email us and we will stop using your details for marketing.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Necessary cookies, which make the website work — for example, keeping the site secure, remembering your cookie choice and letting our forms and logins work. These are always on.
- Analytics and advertising cookies, which help us understand how the website is used and show you more relevant ads. These are only used if you accept them.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the website may then not work as expected.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed, with:
- our team members who handle enquiries, orders and recruitment;
- service providers who run things on our behalf — for example website hosting, email, security, online ordering and delivery partners, and analytics or advertising platforms (the last only with your consent);
- professional advisers, or authorities and regulators where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, orders and applications only for as long as we need them for the purpose we collected them for, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records or where the law requires it. After that we delete them or make them anonymous.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls on our systems and an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to this website. No website can be completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information such as bank or card details through our forms.
Children
Our website is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our website links to other services, such as social media, map and online ordering platforms. This policy does not cover them, so please read their own privacy policies.
