Kitchen Helper

Fresh/Entry Level · Permanent · Sri Petaling, Puchong, USJ Taipan, SS2, Menjalara & Klang + Seremban (new outlet)

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join the Sushi Hiro team. You’ll support daily kitchen operations and food preparation, and help keep our kitchens clean and up to standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, cutting and portioning ingredients)
  • Prepare simple dishes or ingredients according to instructions
  • Keep the kitchen area, utensils and equipment clean and hygienic
  • Wash dishes, pots and kitchen tools promptly
  • Store and label food properly (FIFO)
  • Help receive and check incoming stock and ingredients
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and keep the kitchen clean at all times
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and SOP guidelines strictly
  • Help pack food orders when required
  • Refill ingredients and supplies during service
  • Support opening and closing kitchen duties

Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen
  • 18 years old & above
  • No experience required – training provided!
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
